Account & Registration

  • Users must provide accurate and complete information including full name, valid email address, and active phone number during registration.
  • Each individual or organization is permitted to maintain only one (1) account on World Open Market. Creating multiple accounts is strictly prohibited.
  • Account security is the sole responsibility of the user. You must keep your password confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • World Open Market reserves the right to verify user information at any time and suspend accounts with inaccurate or misleading details.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account credentials.
⚠️ Providing false information during registration is grounds for immediate account suspension and may result in legal action.

Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction to use this platform.
  • You must be a legally recognized individual or registered business entity to conduct transactions on World Open Market.
  • Users from countries under international trade sanctions may be restricted from accessing certain features of the platform.
  • By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements stated herein.

Products & Listings (Seller)

  • Sellers must provide accurate, honest, and complete product information including title, description, price, photos, and delivery details.
  • The sale of illegal, counterfeit, or copyright-infringing products is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
  • All product listings must comply with World Open Market's listing guidelines, content policies, and applicable national laws.
  • World Open Market may charge a platform fee or commission on successful transactions as notified to sellers from time to time.
  • Sellers are responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels and fulfilling orders in a timely manner.
  • Misleading product descriptions, fake reviews, or manipulated ratings are strictly forbidden.
🚫 Prohibited items include: weapons, drugs, adult content, stolen goods, counterfeit branded items, and any product banned under Bangladesh law.

Orders & Payments (Buyer)

  • Buyers must provide correct shipping address, contact information, and payment details when placing orders.
  • Refund, cancellation, and delivery policies must be read and followed before completing a purchase.
  • Transactions are processed through World Open Market's platform and/or authorized third-party payment gateways (bKash, Nagad, card payments, Cash on Delivery).
  • World Open Market does not store full payment card information. All card data is handled by PCI-compliant payment processors.
  • Buyers agree not to initiate fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting our support team.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Estimated delivery timeframes and shipping charges are determined and communicated by the platform and/or individual sellers at the time of purchase.
  • World Open Market holds limited liability for delivery delays caused by external courier services, natural disasters, or other factors beyond our control.
  • Delivery within Dhaka: typically 1–2 business days. Outside Dhaka: 3–7 business days. International delivery timelines vary.
  • Buyers are responsible for ensuring the delivery address is correct. Failed deliveries due to incorrect address are not the responsibility of World Open Market.
  • Digital products are delivered electronically and are not subject to shipping charges.

Return & Refund Policy

  • Return and refund eligibility is subject to specific conditions outlined at the time of purchase and product category.
  • Buyers may submit a claim for damaged, defective, or incorrect products within 7 days of delivery.
  • Refund processing time is 7–14 business days from the date the claim is approved.
  • Digital products are generally non-refundable unless a technical fault is proven.
  • To initiate a return, buyers must contact support with order ID, photos of the product, and reason for return.
  • World Open Market reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with the return policy.

User Conduct

  • Users must not post, share, or transmit any abusive, illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or spam content on the platform.
  • Misuse of personal information belonging to World Open Market or other users is strictly prohibited.
  • Attempting to hack, manipulate, or disrupt the platform's systems or data is a criminal offense.
  • Users may not engage in price fixing, market manipulation, or any form of anti-competitive behavior.
  • Impersonating other users, sellers, or World Open Market representatives is strictly forbidden.
🚫 Violation of conduct guidelines will result in immediate account suspension without prior notice.

Intellectual Property

  • The World Open Market logo, name, website design, content, and all associated intellectual property are copyright protected and owned by World Open Market.
  • Users may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of this platform without express written permission.
  • Content uploaded by users (reviews, product photos, descriptions) grants World Open Market a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use such content on the platform.
  • Users retain ownership of their uploaded content but warrant that such content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

Liability & Disclaimer

  • World Open Market acts as a marketplace platform and holds limited liability for product quality, seller conduct, or transaction disputes.
  • We are not liable for errors, technical failures, data loss, or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • World Open Market does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access to the platform at all times.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, World Open Market's total liability is limited to the value of the specific transaction in dispute.
ℹ️ World Open Market facilitates transactions but is not a party to the contract between buyer and seller.

Privacy Policy

  • World Open Market collects user data including name, email, phone number, address, and browsing activity to provide and improve our services.
  • We use cookies and tracking technologies to personalize your experience and analyze platform performance.
  • User data will not be sold to third parties. Data may be shared with authorized service providers (payment processors, delivery partners) as necessary to complete transactions.
  • For marketing purposes, World Open Market will only contact users who have given explicit consent.
  • Users have the right to request data deletion by contacting support@worldopenmarket.com.

Account Termination

  • World Open Market reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any user account that violates these Terms & Conditions.
  • Termination may occur without prior notice in cases of fraud, illegal activity, or serious misconduct.
  • Upon termination, the user's right to access the platform ceases immediately. Pending orders and refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable policies.
  • Users may also voluntarily close their account by contacting support.

Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
  • Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
  • If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • World Open Market reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Seller Partnership Agreement

This legally binding agreement is entered into between World Open Market (the Company) and the registered Seller. By submitting required documents and receiving approval, the Seller agrees to all terms herein.

1The Seller agrees to list only legal, genuine, and accurately described products on the World Open Market platform.
2The Seller agrees to fulfill orders promptly and maintain the quality standards described in their product listings.
3The Seller acknowledges that World Open Market may deduct a platform commission fee from each successful transaction as communicated at the time of registration.
4The Seller agrees not to conduct off-platform transactions with buyers acquired through World Open Market to circumvent platform fees.
5The Seller is solely responsible for taxes, duties, and legal compliance related to their business operations.
6World Open Market reserves the right to remove listings, suspend, or terminate the Seller's account for any breach of this agreement.
7The Seller grants World Open Market a non-exclusive license to display their product content, images, and descriptions on the platform and in marketing materials.
8This agreement is governed by the laws of Bangladesh and disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka.
